Children at Hope Church

Children are an important part of our church community.

We want them to know and love Jesus Christ.

We aim to help and encourage them to follow Him.

We want them to be actively involved with and contributing to church life.

Proverbs 22 v 6

'Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it'

We have 2 main groups for Children at Hope Church (Sundorne site)

The children worship in the main service for the first part of the morning.  After 3 songs they go to their groups. 

Explorers (18 months - 3's) 

Explorers is our group for 18 months to 3.  The children here have lots of toys to play with and enthusiastic leaders to play with and care for them. They also enjoy worship prayer and bible stories in an age appropriate manner. Look out for our Explorers helpers in their pale blue t shirts if you are new to the church.  All our leaders are CRB checked.

COGS (4-11's) 

COGS is an exciting group for our 4-11’s.  COGS stand for Children of God Squad. We aim to help them to get to know God more and form good relationships with each other.  During COGS the children will play games, learn stories from the bible, sing songs, pray, do crafts, and spend time in their small groups. By having them all together like this, we're able to deliver top quality content to them all effectively. Look out for the team in their fetching red t shirts with the COGS logo.  

At The Grange site, children join in with the main service and are provided with some toys and colouring sheets as required.
